Shocking statistics... WE CAN CHANGE THIS!

I was doing some reading and I came across these statistics that saddened my heart.

Children ages 5-13 have a 32% probability of accepting Christ as their Savior.  The rate drops to only 4% for kids 14-18 but if they have not become a Christian before the age of 19 there is only a 6% chance that they will some time in their life.

I don't know if you are like me but I read that and got sad then I got mad then I said "let change it."

We all are capable of sharing our faith and in fact that is what we are suppose to do.  After all that is the great commission.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

So are you making sure you are raising your children to know and experience God in real and practical ways.  Proverbs 22:6  Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Have you shared the Good News of Jesus Christ with anyone lately?  Think of someone you work with, a neighbor, a family member.  Ask God to lay a person on your heart and give you a new boldness to invite them to church or tell them about HIS goodness!  YOU HAVE THE POWER from the HOLY SPIRIT!  Let the Holy Spirit lead you... you never know how God wants to use you until you allow him to.  He may want to heal someone through your prayer or maybe you might just plant some seeds on fertile ground.  God knows so surrender and pray for him to use you and direct you to someone today.  BE BOLD!

I really want to smash those statistics and see people of all ages come to know the Lord!

What are some ways you are sharing your faith?
