I want candy... Cotton Candy (craft/card)

I am a huge fan of cotton candy.  I know I'm an adult but I get excited just like a lil kid in a candy store when I know we are going to a fair because there will be cotton candy there.  I always have to talk my hubby into letting me get some.  :)

Well we did not actually have real cotton candy so I told my daughter we could make "pretend cotton candy."  She was confused but then realized we could make a craft and had a fun time creating this project.

The project was very simple but yet fun.  All you need is toilet paper tube, cotton balls, glue, h20 food coloring mixture in a spray bottle.

Stretching and gluing on the cotton balls... it looks so much like cotton candy.  Had to reinforce that we could not eat this because we were just pretending.

There her tongue is out again.  Here we are adding our color to the cotton to make it look like tasty cotton candy.

Yummy... really wish I had the real stuff!

We made 2 cards to give out.  I forgot to take a picture after we wrote on them.  On one of them we wrote:  "Happy Birthday Daddy, hope you have the sweetest day ever."  The 2nd card we gave to our pastor's wife and that said "You are sweeter then Cotton Candy."

The craft did not take very long but still worked on some fine motor with using glue, stretching the cotton balls out, and using the spray bottle.  :)

Maybe my hubby could buy me this Nostalgia electric Cotton Candy Maker off of Amazon!  :)

Thanks! I am not sure if she had more fun creating and making it or handing the card to her dad and "nana" at our church. It makes me excited that she loves to be a giver! :)

Unquestionably imagine that that you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the internet the easiest thing to understand of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed whilst other
people consider concerns that they just do not recognise about.
You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest as neatly
as defined out the entire thing with no need
side-effects , other folks could take a signal.
Will likely be again to get more. Thank you

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Packing for your first ski trip

Pexels - CCO Licence So, you're gearing up for your first ski trip and the excitement is as thick as the snow you're about to conquer. But before you can show off those freshly learned pizza and French fry stops, you’ve got to pack.  Packing for a ski trip can feel like preparing for a chilly expedition to the North Pole, but fear not! With these nifty tips, you'll be ready to hit the slopes in style and comfort. 1. Layer Like a Lasagna Think of your ski outfit as a gourmet lasagna: each layer is crucial. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer (yes, that includes thermal underwear) to keep you dry and snug. Over that, layer a warm and breathable mid-layer—think fleece or a wool sweater that can handle the chill. Top it all off with a waterproof and windproof jacket and pants. Remember, it's all about layers that you can add or peel off because sweating while you ski is less fun than a snowball in the face. 2. Keep Those Fingers Cosy Cold hands can ruin a...
