Fall Craft

Last week my daughter started her craft and cooking class.  This week they made caramel apples and then made this neat little "window" and you watch the leaves falling.  I thought it was cute and super easy.   The little pieces in the middle are in a plastic baggie and taped on the back of the window.  EASY!

That's adorable! We sing a song that would go with that (Tune: The wheels on the bus)
The leaves on the tree are falling down, falling down, falling down, The leaves on the tree are falling down, Red, yellow, orange and brown.
Thought the song might be fun for you. We'll definitely try out that craft to go with it :)
Thanks for the song Jackie! :) We will be singing that after nap today! :)
That's a neat idea! Love that Fall craft!

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Timeless Truth Bible - Blogger Review #timelesstruths #biblegram #bible #Christianbookstagram

About this Bible: The Christian faith is founded upon an unchanging and unceasing confession: that “Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:11). This is the confession upon which all our hope, and all our joy, rests. The  Timeless Truths Bible  will encourage you in this truth through the wisdom of those who came before us with: Devotional notes and commentary from trusted theologians and pastors from the second century up to the twentieth to stir your affections. Ancient creeds and confessions of the faith to grow your understanding of what we believe—and have always believed. Artwork made throughout the history of Christianity to deepen your worship of God. My Review: I have a full house often being a pastor and now that we have a bonus daughter with us she is the blessed one to receive this Bible.  She has been desiring a bible to take notes in so when she saw margins she was pretty excited.  Then with the leather she was more exci...
