"Mom, can we make cupcakes?"

I think every day for a month my daughter was asking if we could make pink and purple cupcakes. Since I have been watching what I eat I have tried to prolong it. Well, I decided to go ahead and make them so she could bring a fun snack to AWANA. At the dollar store we had found these very cute cupcake liners and hearts to put on top of each cupcake. After we had mixed the batter up we separated it into two different bowls and put in some pink and purple food coloring.

Here they were out of the oven. They look yummy before putting frosting on them.

What the inside of the cupcake looks like... would be cool to have a heart for Valentines day but I am a newbie at this. :)
