Genesis- Juice Box Review and Giveaway

I, like many parents are checking food and drink labels all the time.  We are trying to remove high fructose corn syrup and every day I keep getting frustrated!  ANY ONE WITH ME??  It's everywhere even when you least expect it!  A few months ago my mother in law was visiting and even noticed the bread I bought had it.  :(  I never even checked bread!  Also, I really love ketchup and I have yet to find a Ketchup that I like that does not have it?  Can anyone recommend one?

Juice is a big area where I am checking labels, the hard fact is many juices have pictures that catch my daughters attention and she wants that type of juice.  Sadly, I look at the label and have to tell her we can't buy that kind of juice.  Genesis Juice has created a great juice that even has Power Ranger characters to interest the kids.  :)  It has no High Fructose Corn Syrup, no preservatives, no added colors, 50% less sugar then most other juices, and it has some great vitamins in it.  If you are like me then you were like awesome, but will it taste good and will my kids drink it?  I can proudly say that they do taste GREAT!  With two great flavors, Blueberry Power Blast and Berry Power Blast I figured my kids would hopefully enjoy one of the flavors.  So happy to find out they love them both!  I had to give them a taste and see what I thought, and to my surprise for having 50% less sugar and no High Fructose Corn Syrup they were still very tasty and very sweet.  :)

I try to give my kids very limited amounts of processed food. I know to check everything. I look for the no corn syrup label since the brands that don't use it brag about it!

I try to limit the sugar as well. We drink lots of water and use juice boxes as a treat.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...
