Go Back to School with Scribblers Crayons- **Discount Code**

It is back to school time and on many school lists are color crayons.  How about sending your child to school with a little bit more personality with these fun Scribblers Crayons.  Go take a look at all the fun options to choose from which are sure to please any child or adult!

Thank-you to Randi from Scribblers Crayons for sending me a wide variety of Scribblers Crayons to conduct my review.  I was not paid for this review and all thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.

Some of the samples that were sent to me include: Stars, Legos, flowers, butterflies, Dino's, squares, and a multi-colored star.  (I also received party favors for my daughters party next month but you all will have to wait to see those.)  :)

The package arrived very quickly which is always a pleasure when you order online.  Once we opened the box it was full of surprises that were all packaged very organized.  All of the packaging was clean and clear.  It was so easy to see the awesome product inside.  :) There was a Scribblers Label but it was small and on the back which make these so easy to give as gifts.  :)

I also loved seeing the party favor ideas.  Scribblers will work with anyone and go an extra step finding the right image for whatever party idea you may have.  I got to see a Toy Story, Rainbow, and Star Wars theme ideas.  They really are packaged awesome and the images fit perfect with the birthday or party theme.

What did my kids think?
Both my 4 year old and 16 month old were at the table coloring for at least an hour.   My daughter really loved using the flower crayons and my son loved the little lego men.  My son was doing more playing then coloring but that is what is so fun with these crayons... They are dual purposed!  You can create artistically but you can have an imagination and play with them at the same time.  :)

Another thing I like is the bold colors and the ease of coloring with them.  I have made my own crayons and they seem waxy but these crayons are not waxy and you can color with ease.

I am also very pleased at how Randi treated me.  She was friendly and easy to work with.  I know my daughters party next month is going to be wonderful and I know all her friends are going to go home with some Scribblers Crayons- Go get your Custom orders today! :)

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Book Review: "God I feel Scared"

Kids have big feelings, but none of their feelings are too big for God. In this picture book from licensed counselor Michelle Nietert and Tama Fortner, young readers will explore what it means to feel scared and discover how to manage their emotions in a healthy way. Scared is a feeling that can be hard to face, but if we listen to it, we can learn things about ourselves. In  God, I Feel Scared , children will discover that it’s okay to be scared and that God is with us in all things, including fear. With simple, accessible text, scared becomes an emotion that kids don’t need to avoid and instead something they can use to better understand themselves and grow closer to God. The bright, emotive art by Nomar Perez will draw kids in, and a note in the back provides tips and techniques parents and caregivers can use to help young children process their feelings in a beneficial way. God, I Feel Scared  teaches kids ages 4 to 8 how to: Identify the feeling of fear and recognize thin...
