Patty Shukla DVD Review and Giveaway

My kids love music, do yours?  I enjoy having kid's music on that encourages learning, fun, and movement!

Thank you to Patty Shukla for sending me 2 DVD's for review and sponsoring the giveaway.  :)  I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine.

The DVD's arrived in the mail the day before Thanksgiving break... perfect timing!  :)  On the first day of Thanksgiving break we watched/danced to both DVD's.

The first DVD was done using a green screen and my kids enjoyed it but I got a little dizzy with the camera work on it.  The songs were still fun and enjoyable for my kids but I must say that volume 2 was done with better quality!  The clips were filmed outside so no green screen was used.  :) The songs on both discs are fun, educational, and incorporate a lot of movement.

Here is a video clip:

Enter the giveaway using the easy rafflecopter form below.  The giveaway is for 2 Patty Shukula DVD's.  Your kids will be so excited you won them.  :)

My daughter LOVES her! My daughter has a sensory processing disorder and needs a LOT more sensory movement and input than most kids. Her teacher at school uses this during those times when kids would need to wait around. It allows children to get in that activity and movement and gives them a direction to there actions not just running around and getting more hyper! My daughter LOVES to dance along and sing these songs!!!!

I am a PE teacher at a preschool (kids age 2-5) and I stumbled across Patty's website via Pinterest this summer. I immediately bought her first DVD and my preschoolers absolutely love it. I look forward to adding more of Patty's songs and dvd's to our class!

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...
