Piggy Paint- Natural as Mud- Nail Polish Review and Giveaway

Praises of a Wife and Mommy's #1 Stocking Stuffer Idea!!!

The creator of Piggy Paint is similar to me, first she is a mom,  second she has 2 kids, and thirdly she wants to keep her kids safe.  She created piggy paint after she watch the nail polish she was previously using eat through a foam plate. It was her mission to find a safe alternative using natural ingredients that are safe for our children.

The thought of painting her daughters nails with solvent based kid polishes was frightening to say the least.  As a mom we paint our little girls nails but then a few minutes later their fingers are in their mouths.  :(  How scary to think about the chemicals being digested in our little girls bodies.

Melanie Hurley, created Piggy Paint for us mom's so we can relax and have no fear about the chemicals.  Piggy Paint is a water based formula and is free from formaldehyde, toluene, biphenyl A, ethyl acetate and acetone... and it is made in the USA.

Thank- you Piggy Paint for sending me the Holiday Set.  All opinions are 100% mine and I was not paid for this review.

The holiday set included red, white, and green and were in an adorable carrying case.  We applied 2 coats and then used a hair dryer to dry our nails.  My daughter picked a red/green pattern for her nails and I did red nails with a green stripe.  We had a great time getting prepared for Christmas pictures using this fun Holiday Set.  :) Each of the colors had a very neat glitter shimmer.  My daughter really loved the vibrant green color.  We went on the website to look at all the colors and my daughter is really hoping to have a couple in her stocking for Christmas.  She kept saying she "needs" pink and purple.  :)  I do think we will have to buy the base and top coats just to help reduce the chipping.  They do recommend the base and top coats to help with chipping.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Common Mistakes Made When Writing a Will

Writing a will should, by all means, be a simple thing. You want to make sure that your assets are being left to your loved ones and that your final wishes are being fulfilled. Usually, they are rather straightforward, but that doesn’t mean that they are entirely foolproof. Here, we’re going to look at some common issues that can lead to disputes or delays in carrying out your will. Image - CC0 License Not Having It Witnessed Correctly One of the most common mistakes when writing a will is not having it witnessed correctly. Wills generally require the signatures of at least two witnesses who are not beneficiaries or spouses of beneficiaries. If the will is not witnessed in accordance with legal requirements, it may be declared invalid, meaning your estate would be distributed according to intestacy laws, which may not align with your wishes. It’s important to follow the witnessing procedures exactly as outlined in your jurisdiction to ensure the will is legally enforceable. Chan...
