My Review:
Thank you Aquatopia for providing me the nap mat for my review.  All opinions expressed are mine and I was not paid for this review.

The nap mat arrived the same day we were leaving for a weekend get away!  My daughter was thrilled to be able to pack this for the trip.  We might have been sleeping in a hotel and she had a bed but putting this on the bed made our transition so much smoother.
The mat is made from memory foam and it truly is a comfortable experience.  Sine we took it on our travels the easy snap made it quick to pack it up with the pillow attached so nothing would get lost.

The nap mat saved the day once again.  My husband accidentally left our pack n play in his car and he was at work but I had my daycare child and no place for him to take a nap.  Then I remembered the nap mat!  I was so thrilled that  he fell asleep within a few minutes and slept well!  Had I not had the nap mat I may have endured a long day with the daycare boy!

I also hope that this nap mat will be something my daughter can use for kindergarten next year.

The nap mat comes in a hippo or a whale.  We chose the hippo with more girl colors and the whale pattern is in blue colors.

Enter the giveaway below using the easy rafflecopter form to win a Deluxe Memory Foam Nap Mat from Aquatopia.  The winner will be able to chose between the hippo or whale pattern.  :)

my boys used to share a room...they no longer do not do that. one day i went it to break up what i thought was a fight and it turned out to be world war 3. the curtains had been yanked down (they were on a tension rod), the sheets...everything from both the bed and the crib were torn off... oh my... now peace has been restored in the home since they are separated. goodness. that was more tan just a fiasco. lol

Weekends are always hard, as we are out of routine. Would love to have this as an incentive to get my 2 year old to nap!

I had many disasters with my first son. He loved to take off his (messy) diaper during naptime and paint his room. I can still remember that awful smell!

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Packing for your first ski trip

Pexels - CCO Licence So, you're gearing up for your first ski trip and the excitement is as thick as the snow you're about to conquer. But before you can show off those freshly learned pizza and French fry stops, you’ve got to pack.  Packing for a ski trip can feel like preparing for a chilly expedition to the North Pole, but fear not! With these nifty tips, you'll be ready to hit the slopes in style and comfort. 1. Layer Like a Lasagna Think of your ski outfit as a gourmet lasagna: each layer is crucial. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer (yes, that includes thermal underwear) to keep you dry and snug. Over that, layer a warm and breathable mid-layer—think fleece or a wool sweater that can handle the chill. Top it all off with a waterproof and windproof jacket and pants. Remember, it's all about layers that you can add or peel off because sweating while you ski is less fun than a snowball in the face. 2. Keep Those Fingers Cosy Cold hands can ruin a...
