DIY- Valentines Decorations

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Are you the type of person who loves to decorate for every holiday?  Then this is a great idea that will save you money!  This is a simple Do It Yourself idea to create great Valentines Decorations.

All you need:
Cardboard
Yarn

Yep only 2 things!  Simply cut the patter you want out of the cardboard and then wrap it with yarn.  I like to wrap the yarn in all different directions to make it more textured.  You may like a more clean crisp look and then you will have to wrap very carefully.  Either way it does not take too much of you time and is very affordable and looks great in the window, staircase, or any other place you keep decorations.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Labrador or Poodle? Which Is The Best Breed For You?

Pexels. CCO Licensed. Labs and poodles are two of the most popular breeds - and it’s easy to see why. They are both loving, playful and intelligent. But which is the right choice for you? This post weighs up the characteristics of both dogs to help you decide . Appearance Labrador retrievers and poodles both have floppy ears and square pointed snouts - but that’s about where the similarities end. Labs always grow to a medium-to-large size. Because of their working background, they are often heavier dogs and have a bit more muscle. Their fur comes in a range of colors - the most common being black, chocolate and yellow - and it is always short and straight. Their coat does not need to be trimmed in most cases.  Poodles can come in a greater variety of sizes with some being quite small and others being quite tall. They tend to be slimmer than labs and have longer ears. Their coat comes in an even greater array of colors, however it is thicker and curlier than a lab’s. Trimming...
