The Berenstain Bears Storybook Bible

Book Description:
Join Papa, Mama, Brother, Sister, and Honey Bear as they read favorite Bible stories together as a family and imagine what it would have been like to see Adam and Eve in the garden, watch Noah build the ark, and listen as Jesus tells a parable to the people. Told with words and pictures in the beloved Berenstain style, twenty-three Old and New Testament stories come alive for young readers.

My Review:

One important thing I have done with my daughter is create a good habit of making sure we read her bible before bed.  I know it is my job as a parent to instill a devotional life at a young age.  My daughter and I have read through several different children's bibles and I believe my daughter has enjoyed this one with the bright Berenstain Bear pictures.

Since she is very familiar with many of the stories from the Bible it has become a fun game of hers to guess the story by looking at the pictures.

I love the way these stories are told, at a level of understanding for younger readers.  :)  This Bible would make a great present to any expecting parent or child!  :)

I was provided a copy of this Storybook Bible to conduct my review.  I was not paid and all opinions expressed are 100% mine.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Timeless Truth Bible - Blogger Review #timelesstruths #biblegram #bible #Christianbookstagram

About this Bible: The Christian faith is founded upon an unchanging and unceasing confession: that “Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:11). This is the confession upon which all our hope, and all our joy, rests. The  Timeless Truths Bible  will encourage you in this truth through the wisdom of those who came before us with: Devotional notes and commentary from trusted theologians and pastors from the second century up to the twentieth to stir your affections. Ancient creeds and confessions of the faith to grow your understanding of what we believe—and have always believed. Artwork made throughout the history of Christianity to deepen your worship of God. My Review: I have a full house often being a pastor and now that we have a bonus daughter with us she is the blessed one to receive this Bible.  She has been desiring a bible to take notes in so when she saw margins she was pretty excited.  Then with the leather she was more exci...
