Educational Toys Planet Review

Thank you Educational Toys Planet for sending me the Farmers Market and the Tub Tunes Toy for Review.  All opinions are 100% mine and I was not paid for this review.

The first item the company sent me was the Farmer's Market Color Sorting set.  I was very excited to get this toy because I knew it would be fun with all the bright fruit and veggies and I know playing with the fruit and veggies would first help them with color sorting but would also get them more comfortable with the idea of eating them because of the pure exposure of playing with them.

About the Farmer's Market Color Sorting Set:

Put your little farmer to work! Learning Resources' Farmers Market Color Sorting Set is a unique activity set perfect for all young children. The Farmers Market Color Sorting Set features 5 labeled baskets, 25 fruits and vegetables, and an activity guide. It's up to you to organize all your freshly picked fruit and vegetables into their own baskets based on color. Educational Toys Planet offers this vibrant activity set as a great way to encourage healthy eating, food recognition, matching skills, problem solving skills and creative play. Learning Resources uses the most durable materials in all their toys, and each piece of toy produce is easy to grab and easy to clean, making this set perfect for even the littlest gardeners. Organize your harvest and enjoy a colorful day at the farmers market! Each play basket measures 4 x 5.5 inches in diameter.
Age: 3 years +

I was sad when my toy arrived and there was a huge crack in the baskets.  I decided to take a picture and send an email to the contact I had been communicating with.  I sent my email on a Friday afternoon and I was very thrilled when I got a response early Monday morning.  I felt Educational Toys Planet really took care of me and resolved the problem immediately!  THANK YOU for amazing customer service!!  I can confidently recommend that this company will make sure that each customer is satisfied!  :)

Even with the crack in the bin I have been able to still use the fruit and keep the sorting activity fun.  This toy falls in the Learn to Think category which features many educational toys.

The second toy Educational Toys Planet they sent me was the Water Trumpet Bath Toy.

About the Water Trumpet Bath Toy:
Play great tunes on the trumpet while taking a bath! With the Water Trumpet children musical instrument by Alex Toys your toddler or preschooler can make great music in the tub or in the pool. This water toy trumpet can be tuned with water. After some practice, your child can play amazing fun music with the Water Trumpet and included water-proof note sheets. The "notes" are simply colored dots that correspond with the color of the trumpet's rainbow keys. This simple and fun music technique means that the music is easy and fun to learn. Young musicians can even give performances for friends and family outside the tub. An easy-fill tuner is included in the Water Trumpet to have the notes in perfect harmony. For even more musical fun in the tub take a look at the other water toy instruments, also available in Educational Toys Planet.
Age: 3 years +

If you have kids like mine then having fun in the bath is important and Educational Toys Planet has a wide selection of Bath Toys which will be fun and educational.

My kids love this new bath toy!  They actual love it so much that I think I might need to order another one since sharing is becoming an issue.

The toy is very easy to use and the trumpet does make different notes when you fill each tube to the line with the right amount of water.

Overall Educational Toys Planet is an amazing website filled with toys for all ages.  It is easy to search for a girl or a boy, an infant or a school aged child, or even search by the type of toy.  They offer free shipping on orders of $75 or more.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Packing for your first ski trip

Pexels - CCO Licence So, you're gearing up for your first ski trip and the excitement is as thick as the snow you're about to conquer. But before you can show off those freshly learned pizza and French fry stops, you’ve got to pack.  Packing for a ski trip can feel like preparing for a chilly expedition to the North Pole, but fear not! With these nifty tips, you'll be ready to hit the slopes in style and comfort. 1. Layer Like a Lasagna Think of your ski outfit as a gourmet lasagna: each layer is crucial. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer (yes, that includes thermal underwear) to keep you dry and snug. Over that, layer a warm and breathable mid-layer—think fleece or a wool sweater that can handle the chill. Top it all off with a waterproof and windproof jacket and pants. Remember, it's all about layers that you can add or peel off because sweating while you ski is less fun than a snowball in the face. 2. Keep Those Fingers Cosy Cold hands can ruin a...
