Ancient Minerals Magnesium Lotion Goodnight- Review

How are you sleeping at night?

To be honest I am blessed to be able to fall asleep quite fast but ever since having children I seem to wake up often.  Sometimes its due to children waking me up, sometimes its the bathroom calling my name, and even sometimes I think it happens because my body is in a pattern of waking up.

Since going back to work full time my body is trying to adjust to less sleep and no opportunity for those afternoon cat naps.

Thank you Ancient Minerals for sending me a bottle of your Ancient Mineral Magnesium Goodnight lotion to review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine.

It was easy for me to welcome this review because I desperately yearn for uninterrupted sleep!  So here is the nitty gritty details of my review.

I have been using the product for about 2.5 weeks.  I use it occasionally (2-3 times a week) and not every night.  The biggest difference I have noticed for me are my dreams.  It may sound strange but every night I use this lotion I have more vivid dreams.

Dreaming more at night makes me believe that this is truly helping me reach that REM sleep I so desperately needed.  I know we all dream at night and most of the time I never remember my dreams but each morning I wake up using the Goodnight Lotion I can recall my crazy dreams so much easier.

The dosage is a bit different for everyone.  I started using a half of squirt but now I use 1 full squirt.   There is no a scent with this lotion!  I also like the fact that it is safe without extra ingredients that could be harmful!  No formaldehyde or preservatives.  Goodnight Lotion also provides hydration since it uses my favorite, coconut oil.

What is Goodnight lotion?
Our newest release is a complementary blend of magnesium,
MSM, and melatonin formulated with a better night’s sleep in mind. Melatonin’s
critical role in your biology doesn’t end with sleep – this ubiquitous hormone is also
a powerful antioxidant, scavenger of free radicals, neuroprotective agent, immune
booster, and mood stabilizer.

Equally as important, magnesium is required for proper sleep cycle regulation. It
helps relax muscles, calm your nervous system, slow metabolic processes and
ultimately assists in transitioning the body into a restful state.
The application of these nutrients directly onto your skin allows for rapid assimilation by the body and, unlike many oral supplements, immediate results.

Rich in plant moisturizers including coconut oil and shea butter, this lotion soothes and hydrates without
leaving your skin feeling waxy or greasy. Ancient Minerals Magnesium Lotion Goodnight is fragrance free, does not contain any formaldehyde releasing preservatives, and delivers 3mg melatonin and 25mg elemental
magnesium per 1 mL.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Book Review: "God I feel Scared"

Kids have big feelings, but none of their feelings are too big for God. In this picture book from licensed counselor Michelle Nietert and Tama Fortner, young readers will explore what it means to feel scared and discover how to manage their emotions in a healthy way. Scared is a feeling that can be hard to face, but if we listen to it, we can learn things about ourselves. In  God, I Feel Scared , children will discover that it’s okay to be scared and that God is with us in all things, including fear. With simple, accessible text, scared becomes an emotion that kids don’t need to avoid and instead something they can use to better understand themselves and grow closer to God. The bright, emotive art by Nomar Perez will draw kids in, and a note in the back provides tips and techniques parents and caregivers can use to help young children process their feelings in a beneficial way. God, I Feel Scared  teaches kids ages 4 to 8 how to: Identify the feeling of fear and recognize thin...
