"Banded" Review and Giveaway

YOU CAN LOOK GOOD. AND FEEL GOOD.
BANDED™ is different than other no-slip headbands

You’ve got headbands…one that stays put through an entire workout, one that fits comfortably all day, and one that is fashionable. Unfortunately, you don’t have one headband that does all three at the same time. We created BANDED™ no slip headbands just for you. Quite simply, we provide a better headband product for women than any other product on the market.

FEEDS A CHILD

We support Amazima, founded by Katie Davis, and their mission to feed, educate, and encourage the orphaned, poor, and vulnerable in the country of Uganda. For each headband you purchase we provide Amazima the funds to provide 3 meals.
My Review:
I really wanted to be cool and wear a headband across my forehead but I got the headbands that are a bit too big...or maybe my forehead is a bit too small?  Even though I didn't wear them on my forehead I loved wearing them the traditional way!   They added the right touch to my outfit and I got several compliments!
So Banded caught my attention first because of their give back business model! I love the that each headband purchase also purchases three meals for children!   I love to promote business that give back!
I also found out that one of my local stores, Aunt Hattie's, is selling these exact same headbands!   I found this pretty exciting!
The headbands I received truly are staying on my head better then other headbands I have used.  The site also has so many awesome designs that if you are like me it will take some time deciding which ones you want and comparing it to the outfits you have that will match it.
Hurry and order some headbands from Banded for those left on your Christmas list!

Time to enter the giveaway using the easy rafflecopter form below.   Winner will receive 1 Banded headband similar to one above.

Thanks for the giveaway. If i wear a headband when I work out, it is closer to my forehead. Otherwise, I wear it like you did in the picture.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Packing for your first ski trip

Pexels - CCO Licence So, you're gearing up for your first ski trip and the excitement is as thick as the snow you're about to conquer. But before you can show off those freshly learned pizza and French fry stops, you’ve got to pack.  Packing for a ski trip can feel like preparing for a chilly expedition to the North Pole, but fear not! With these nifty tips, you'll be ready to hit the slopes in style and comfort. 1. Layer Like a Lasagna Think of your ski outfit as a gourmet lasagna: each layer is crucial. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer (yes, that includes thermal underwear) to keep you dry and snug. Over that, layer a warm and breathable mid-layer—think fleece or a wool sweater that can handle the chill. Top it all off with a waterproof and windproof jacket and pants. Remember, it's all about layers that you can add or peel off because sweating while you ski is less fun than a snowball in the face. 2. Keep Those Fingers Cosy Cold hands can ruin a...
