Harvest Snaps Review

About Harvest Snaps:
Good-for-you and great taste can be hard to come by these days, but for us they’re like two peas in a pod. Inside every bag of Harvest Snaps we combine taste, quality and simplicity. Sprinkle that with the passion we have for fresh, natural ingredients, and you get one "snaptastic" snack.
When it comes to "what’s inside" Harvest Snaps, it all starts with the clean flavors and essential nutrients Mother Nature intended. Our Snapea Crisps are made with all-natural peas – 70%* to be exact – while our Lentil Snaps come packed with 65% authentic lentils and their powerful combination of nutrients.
With each handful (yes we said handful) your body will soak up Vitamin B, calcium, iron, folate, potassium and dietary fiber. Finish that off with a high level of protein and fiber and you’re sure to feel satisfied without feeling sluggish. Not to mention, these snappy little snacks are gluten-free**!
Of course, you can’t have good ingredients without good partners, and you can bet the farm that we did our research before we planted the first seed. We recently made the decision to source Canola/ Sunflower/ Safflower oil for the entire Harvest Snaps range of products. Our commitment to transparency and providing healthier-for-you options drives our innovative process.
Our non-GMO crops are grown and harvested in rich North American soils. Our farmers are just as passionate about raising crops as we are about delivering our product to you.
*Pea and Lentil content may vary slightly by flavor.
**Harvest Snaps are made in a facility that also manufactures products containing wheat, milk, soy, shrimp and fish.

My Review:
I was a little unsure if there would be much of a flavor or even worse that things would just taste salty.   I was wrong in those assumptions and found myself eager to try each flavor.   My favorite was the Wasabi-Ranch which I thought was strange since I am not a big fan of hot but this was not hot it was filled with a tasty and satisfying flavor!   YUM!
I also was a fan that these snacks are gluten free and GMO free!   What a great combination that allow me to feel safe feeding them to my entire family!
I was able to sample both the snap peas and the lentils.  Both were very tasty and the combination of flavors were fantastic!  I will keep my eyes peeled to see if any new flavor combinations are created.

I received Harvest Snaps for free in exchange for an honest review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Book Review: "God I feel Scared"

Kids have big feelings, but none of their feelings are too big for God. In this picture book from licensed counselor Michelle Nietert and Tama Fortner, young readers will explore what it means to feel scared and discover how to manage their emotions in a healthy way. Scared is a feeling that can be hard to face, but if we listen to it, we can learn things about ourselves. In  God, I Feel Scared , children will discover that it’s okay to be scared and that God is with us in all things, including fear. With simple, accessible text, scared becomes an emotion that kids don’t need to avoid and instead something they can use to better understand themselves and grow closer to God. The bright, emotive art by Nomar Perez will draw kids in, and a note in the back provides tips and techniques parents and caregivers can use to help young children process their feelings in a beneficial way. God, I Feel Scared  teaches kids ages 4 to 8 how to: Identify the feeling of fear and recognize thin...
