My Review:
This is a great game to pull out during your family Christmas Celebrations.  The suggested age is 8 and above but I think many younger kids would want to still be a part of this game with a little help from an adult.

I know some people might disagree that this game will make their child want to get a real tattoo but I say I guess it is all how you approach it.   The ink is all waterproof and non toxic.  Honestly, my family and I have already had plenty of fun using washable markers and drawing on daddy's back.

Th game is played similar to other drawing games such as Pictionary but this one is on your skin.   Your tweens and teens might have the most fun with Bodydoodles so wrap it up and have some fun on Christmas Day!

DICEcapades! 2nd Edition will be available November 3, 2014
Same great game as the original version but now with more cards!  Think you can stack dice on your face? Will you dominate in arm wrestling?  How about obscure facts?  Got a handle on those?  With a mixture of dice games, physical challenges, artistic creations, and trivia questions that will exercise both sides of your brain, you'll see why DICEcapades isn’t just the luck of the dice - it’s the smarts of the roller!
This tabletop game will provide hours of fun with your friends and family. Customize the length of the game to fit your time frame - whether you want to play a marathon session or a quick game, the rules are adaptable to fit what YOU want!
Need more cards?  Pick up one of our DICEcapades Expansion Packs - available January 2015.

My Review:
I had the opportunity to pull this game out at one of the Thanksgiving meals we went to.  The game is a bit overwhelming with all the cards and dice but it is fairly simple once you get going.   The group of people I played with ranged in ages and in my opinion I think a younger group of kids and teens would have more fun with this game... maybe that was just my experience.

The game has goofy and silly tasks to do and when I was playing we didn't play long enough to get the rolling belly laughs.   I am looking forward to playing again with a group that is truly ready to embarrass themselves for fun!

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...
