12 Women of the Bible- Review

Are you craving more Jesus?

If you watched that video I hope you are more excited to purchase this great Bible Study DVD and book!

As a pastor's wife I am always trying to find more things to do with our ladies group that will encourage them but give them more understanding of their true identity with Daddy God.   This video series is inspiring and life changing!

We have completed week 1 of a 12 week study using this resource.   I have previewed each video and love the variety each women brings as she delivers a timely message for a variety of women.

The book also gives a brief bio on each woman who shares.   They six ladies all have different backgrounds and are a wide range in ages.

In each video they include a testimony from a lady- I was awe inspired by the boldness that each lady brought to share their sometimes very hard struggle they endured but so encouraged by their faith and trust in Daddy God.

The book provides great discussion questions that will help take the video and apply it to our own personal lives.   It stretches our thinking and allows us to be real and honest with each other and ourselves.

It is a great prices for only $34.99 on Zondervan.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...
