Book Review- "A Case for Grace For Kids" by Lee Strobel

What does “grace” really mean? How can God’s grace impact your life? How can you experience grace every day?
This new book by New York Times bestselling author, Lee Strobel, shows how God’s love is for everyone—no matter what. Through stories of everyday people whose lives have been changed, you will discover God’s love and the power of forgiveness. You will experience God’s amazing grace and be able to share it with others.
Lee Strobel was the award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune and is the best-selling author of The Case for FaithThe Case for Christ, and The Case for a Creator, all of which have been made into documentaries by Lionsgate. With a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale, Lee wrote 3 Gold Medallion winners and the 2005 Book of the Year with Gary Poole.  He and his wife live in Texas.  Visit Lee's website at:www.leestrobel.com.

My Review:
Lee Strobel has made a great adult book and transformed it for kids in an easy to understand and fun way.  The book covers many questions that an be tricky for adults to answer and they are in one book!   The book is perfect for tweens or middle school aged kids but I will admit that adults can get a lot of this book as well!   Sometimes it takes things explained different ways to fully grasp it... GRACE is such a wonderful gift but yet hard to fully understand.
It's in kid friendly language and if you read it together you could create some great bonding time discussing the questions and chapters.
The book goes over GRACE and I love on the acronym used spells grace out this way:
God's
Riches
At
Christ's
Expense

I enjoy the "Face- to-face with Grace" section of questions for discussing at the end of each chapter.  The questions lead you back into the Bible for furthers searching and clarification but also makes you think more personally  on the topics discussed in the chapter.
It's a must read and affordable one too!   Pick your copy up today from Zondervan!

Thanks Zondervan for sending me a free copy of this book to conduct my review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Packing for your first ski trip

Pexels - CCO Licence So, you're gearing up for your first ski trip and the excitement is as thick as the snow you're about to conquer. But before you can show off those freshly learned pizza and French fry stops, you’ve got to pack.  Packing for a ski trip can feel like preparing for a chilly expedition to the North Pole, but fear not! With these nifty tips, you'll be ready to hit the slopes in style and comfort. 1. Layer Like a Lasagna Think of your ski outfit as a gourmet lasagna: each layer is crucial. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer (yes, that includes thermal underwear) to keep you dry and snug. Over that, layer a warm and breathable mid-layer—think fleece or a wool sweater that can handle the chill. Top it all off with a waterproof and windproof jacket and pants. Remember, it's all about layers that you can add or peel off because sweating while you ski is less fun than a snowball in the face. 2. Keep Those Fingers Cosy Cold hands can ruin a...
