Love Cooking Company Review

Thank you Love Cooking Company for sending me the Love Cooking Push Pan, Mrs. Fields Cutie Cakes Baking Pan, and the Mrs. Fields Fill n Flip Pan in exchange for an honest review!

First, I decided to make Andes Mint Brownies in the Cutie Cake Baking Pan.  The pan creates very cute mini cakes or in my case brownies.    My favorite thing about the pan is after I took the brownies out of the oven and turned the pan upside down all of the brownies fell out clean!   No mess, no scrubbing the residue!  I think I might have cooked them a little too long because the brownies seemed a bit harder.  I understand with a smaller size you don't need to cook as long so I will adjust the next time.   No worries since people still ate and enjoyed them.

Description of the Cutie Cake Baking Pan:  When you need just a small bite of something sweet, the Mrs. Fields' Cutie Cakes Pan is the perfect fit! This pan creates 48 bite-size cakes, perfect for parties, holidays, school events, or when you just want a small, sweet indulgence. It’s also ideal for savory options, like mini corn dogs and potato pancakes!

The next thing I made was a yellow cake with apple pie filling in the middle with the Mrs. Fields Fill n Flip.  I was a little confused when I was to put the batter in the pan.   I just wanted to make sure I used the right side of the pan because it was labeled in the pan.   I wish the pan would be labeled a little bit more clear but in the end I did it right.  :)
Product Description: Create a surprise center by adding your favorite fillings to the inside of your cakes! Bake your cake in the Mrs. Fields Fill N Flip™ according to the recipe. When it’s cool, flip the cake over and add filling – pudding, fruit, compote, anything you choose! – to the side with the large opening. Then flip the non-filled cake on top, and you have an amazing layered cake your friends and family will love! Available in round and square pans.

The other pan is the Love Cooking Company Push Pan.

I love how easy the push pan pushes through.   I have not used it yet to bake but I am looking for the right recipe for Christmas to use this pan.   Product description:  Make delicious-looking cakes with the PushPan®! An alternative to a spring-form pan, the PushPan® is a 100% watertight and leak-proof cake pan with a patented, silicone-lined removable base. The silicone seal is so powerful that the pan doesn't require foil wrapping or lining, even when baking a cheesecake in a water bath. Offered exclusively through Love Cooking, the PushPan® creates desserts that never disappoint!

All three of these pans would make for a wonderful Christmas gift for that baker in your family.   Imagine the creativity they can get with these pans.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five words (sad, she, stay, this, with). The s

Dry Idea: Deodorant Review and Giveaway

I know most of you know I was at kids camp last week and I think I mentioned the humidity and heat that we had that week!  I was daring as I only brought my new Dry Idea  deodorant  that I had never used prior.  I had no idea if it was going to keep me from smelling like B.O or if I was going to have sweaty pits. So how did the Dry Idea hold up to the hot and humid days at kids camp???  Arms raised high during worship in the morning and in the evening!  :)  I was dry and I did not stink!  :) WOOT WOOT!  I had the unscented brand and I usually do prefer a pretty scent but it worked and they do have scents which include powder fresh and cotton dry that I might try in the future.  :) The Dry Idea Roll-On is 24 hour protection, fast drying MicroCotton Formula, hypo allergenic, and contains Vitamin E.  :) Don't like roll on's??  They do offer Clear Gel and an Invisible Solid.  :) Dry Idea provided a free sample of their Advanced Dry roll-On so I could review them.  However,
