This morning #titusemerylee was trying to fill his daddy's shoes and it may be cute and all but it got me thinking... How often do we try to fill Gods shoes (role) each day. Instead of trusting him and letting Him guide an direct us we are quick to make our own plans, thinking we know better then our Heavenly Father. We are quick to come to the rescue or bring a new plan instead of building our faith or helping others build their faith. Let us all listen to God and follow his paths and his plans ... I know they will be better then mine any day! Don't have a heart of Jeremiah 18:12 but rather a heart of Jeremiah 29:11.

Happy 2016!!!

Happy New Year!   2016 This year we brought the new year in with family in Wisconsin.    We even made our own party hats and got silly!   Nope still didn't make it to midnight...yawn!  I was so sleepy and don't see the point when we can see the ball drop in New York!   Happy 2016! Some of us sit down and make our resolutions which can be great but this year I am sitting down and asking God what His plan is for me and my family this year! I know he has great plans for the Flanigans in 2016. He has a purpose for me and he has one for you! This year my plan is to walk boldly where ever he calls me! My direction this year is focused on the vision God places before me. "Where there is no vision (direction) the people perish." Thank you Jesus for the encouragement and direction you give me each day in 2016. Hope 2016 is filled with God's blessings!
