To keep bugs away i keep standing water away and I use bug spray.

We have a small goldfish pond in our back yard and living in rural AR the mosquitoes get pretty bad so we always make sure to add a mosquito donuts every few weeks, they wont harm the fish but they will keep the mosquito eggs from hatching!

I learned that: Bright colors have not been proven to attract adult mosquitoes, but strong smells like perfumes, scented soaps, and lotions do. Standing water sources and hot exhaled gases also attract mosquitoes.

I learned that adult mosquitos are attracted to smells such as perfumes.
