Now you can start covering your kids in God's Word. We choose 10 verse that are short and easier to memorize but are still powerful and essential truths. We used the NIRV® translation for this pack, which is targeted for a lower reading level. You may even want this pack for yourself...we won't judge.

                                                                 The List:
  • Psalm 136:1  - God's Love Is Forever
  • Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good. His faithful love continues forever.
  • Proverbs 3:5 - Trust In The Lord
  • Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding.
  • Psalm 56:3 - Don't Be Afraid
  • When I’m afraid, I will trust in you.
  • Psalm 119:105 - God's Word Is A Lamp
  • Your word is like a lamp that shows me the way. It is like a light that guides me.
  • John 3:16 - God Loves Us
  • God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son. Anyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.
  • Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Never Changes
  • Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
  • Hebrews 11:1 - Have Faith
  • Faith is being sure of what we hope for. It is being certain of what we do not see.
  • James 1:17 - God Gives Good Gifts
  • Every good and perfect gift is from God. It comes down from the Father. He created the heavenly lights. He does not change like shadows that move.
  • Philippians 2:3-4 - Care For Others
  • Don’t do anything only to get ahead. Don’t do it because you are proud. Instead, be free of pride. Think of others as better than yourselves. None of you should look out just for your own good. You should also look out for the good of others.
  • Deuteronomy 6:5 - Love God With Everything
  • Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Love him with all your strength.
All of our packs come with 10 different tattoos containing scripture based around a certain topic. Each tattoo will continue to look classy for about 3 days before you should scrub it off and apply the next one. By the end of the month, you will have 10 new truths memorized.

Happy memorizing those scriptures!   I had perfect timing to do this review right at Easter time!  My kids got some tattoos in their Easter basket and surprisingly enough a week later my daughter can still read her verse.   My son's verse is mostly gone and mine lasted 3 days.  I must be more rough on my arms or something.

Day 1

 Day 2

Day 3

I do have to admit that I did wear long sleeves one day and I think that cause some rubbing.  Once it looked worn like the above picture I did remove the rest of it.  The tattoos were very easy to put on... not like some cheap ones that we have experienced several other times.  These had no problems with coming off of the paper and sticking to your skin.   The directions also said to put a little lotion on after to help it last longer so we all did that as well. The Armed with Truth website has so many packages to choose from so go take a peek and order yours today but don't forget to use the discount code- "praises" when you order!

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Packing for your first ski trip

Pexels - CCO Licence So, you're gearing up for your first ski trip and the excitement is as thick as the snow you're about to conquer. But before you can show off those freshly learned pizza and French fry stops, you’ve got to pack.  Packing for a ski trip can feel like preparing for a chilly expedition to the North Pole, but fear not! With these nifty tips, you'll be ready to hit the slopes in style and comfort. 1. Layer Like a Lasagna Think of your ski outfit as a gourmet lasagna: each layer is crucial. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer (yes, that includes thermal underwear) to keep you dry and snug. Over that, layer a warm and breathable mid-layer—think fleece or a wool sweater that can handle the chill. Top it all off with a waterproof and windproof jacket and pants. Remember, it's all about layers that you can add or peel off because sweating while you ski is less fun than a snowball in the face. 2. Keep Those Fingers Cosy Cold hands can ruin a...
