My Review:
Thank-you Zondervan for sending me this book free of charge in exchange for an honest review. I was not paid for this review and all opinions expressed are 100% mine.
This Faithgirlz devotional is aimed for girls 8-12 years old. My 9-year-old started reading it and then started coloring it. She ran out of time on this first picture but said, "mom, I really like this... Like REALLY like this!" It is always a big jump for joy moment when your kids enjoy their Daddy God time! This first devotional was all about setting goals and having dreams and I think it got her even more excited to dig in further!
I think for my 9-year-old this book makes her feel older. I have modeled enjoying my adult coloring book that has some scriptures on it so I think having her own makes her feel special!
This 60-day devotional has a hard cover and do set girls up to identify as a child of God and walk in victory each day. My daughter used markers to color her pictures and didn't have a problem with the colors bleeding to the next page. She is however requesting colored pencils!
