Book Review- "The one and Only Wolfgang"

From Instagram sensation Steve Greig and New York Times bestselling author Mary Rand Hess comes this humorous, heartwarming story about Greig’s real-life menagerie of senior rescue animals that affirms, in a family, everyone belongs.
What makes a family? Is it sharing favorite foods, cuddling up for snuggle time, loving each other no matter what you look like in the morning?
For Steve Greig’s oddly wonderful, real-life family of senior dogs, chickens, rabbits, and a pig named Bikini, family is all those things and then some! And this lovable bunch is now starring in their very first children’s book that showcases the importance of family.
Meet the Wolfgang, a loveable bunch of animals belonging to Steve and each other. Greig looked for the most “unadoptable” animals and gave them a home … his home! Strange and unique, The One and Only Wolfgang will remind readers that no matter how old or how odd, everyone has a place where they belong.
My Review
Have you ever got a pet at a rescue shelter?   Dog, cat, chicken, or even pig?   Yep, I said chicken and pig!   This story which teaches us how important our family is might be strange but its still family.   I know I personally would never have space to rescue 12 different pets but this numerous story will help us all relax a bit and love our own goofy family better.

I love the way this book was created!   The author started a instagram account just retelling parts of the family stories with the animals.  Now they have a huge audience and created a great childrens book!

"Afterall, Family is everything!"  Those are the last words of the story.   I think we all can agree that family is vital!

Thank you Zondervan for sending me this book for free in exchange for an honest review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions expressed are 100% my own.

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  It’s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Timeless Truth Bible - Blogger Review #timelesstruths #biblegram #bible #Christianbookstagram

About this Bible: The Christian faith is founded upon an unchanging and unceasing confession: that “Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:11). This is the confession upon which all our hope, and all our joy, rests. The  Timeless Truths Bible  will encourage you in this truth through the wisdom of those who came before us with: Devotional notes and commentary from trusted theologians and pastors from the second century up to the twentieth to stir your affections. Ancient creeds and confessions of the faith to grow your understanding of what we believe—and have always believed. Artwork made throughout the history of Christianity to deepen your worship of God. My Review: I have a full house often being a pastor and now that we have a bonus daughter with us she is the blessed one to receive this Bible.  She has been desiring a bible to take notes in so when she saw margins she was pretty excited.  Then with the leather she was more exci...
